What’s the flavour of cardboard? Can a match box? What’s the square root of onion? And how does a dog smell when it has no nose? Look no further than The Impossible Quiz. How far will you get? This game is addictive. Seriously addictive. You have been warned…

Stuff your IQ tests, and opt for something a little more lively! Impossible? Maybe not quite impossible, it just may drive you mad in the process. This quiz requires intense concentration, memory and maximum logical thinking… oh, and an easy temperament!

Prepare yourself for 100+ questions of tricks, riddles, mini games and some of the most obscure questions you’ll ever answer… If you can. The game basically follows a multiple choice routine, but you never really know what the next question will be, so keep on your feet, or in this case, on your computer chair!

You start the quiz with three lives – as you continue you will realise these lives are very valuable. At each wrong answer, you lose one life, and when all lives are gone, it’s game over. Back to the start and try again! To give up is out of the question. As soon as you begin, there’s no going back until you have completed; it will grab hold of you!

However, if you succeed in answering a question correctly, you move onto the next. If you answer enough, you will be rewarded with a skip. A skip gives you the opportunity to skip a question if you are stumped, and there are seven to collect throughout the entire game. Some questions can’t be skipped, so these you have to work particularly hard on!

On some of the trickiest questions, they are timed with a bomb. You have a certain amount of time, ranging from a reasonable 10 seconds to just one second, and if you don’t answer before the bomb detonates, it’s game over. Eeek!

The twork and images would be considered a little unimpressive, but the bold and colourful, though simple features fit well with the nature of the quiz itself, so I don’t consider it a fault. The questions with a logically reasoned answer, no matter how tough it is to find the logic, are super. Keep in mind, the sneakier the question, the better the accomplished feeling when you get the answer correct! Some of the questions however, seem to have no sort of logical reasoning or any sort of sense behind them… I’m not a fan of these!

I think it must be agreed that Splapp-Me-Do, has created something, although painfully obsessive, genius. If you get really stuck, you can always look at the answers. But that’s cheating, don’t you think? I don’t know one person who has completed this quiz yet. Are you up for the challenge?
