Winter haiku

I won’t go outside
It is cold and wet out there
I’ll stay in the warm.

Balloon Elephants

The balloon elephant explodes,
Water everywhere.
It is not red,
When it explodes.
It sounds like a balloon elephant explosion.
There is a strong wind.
It comes from the explosive elephant.
My calendar says “Oct’”.
At least it did until the elephant soaked it.
Balloon elephants never play chess.
No thumbs.
A horrible little monkey has eaten the chessboard now.
Atoms are very small, there is one,
Over there.
No, it’s the moon in extreme close up.
BANG.
Help! Moon bits.
